Our programme reflects a balance of educational classes and community activities. Under 5’s, young people and adults are all able to access the programme
Programme Update
Youth and Art clubs plus literacy and adult education classes restart in the week beginning 21st September. We have two new groups but don’t have a definite date yet. They are the Senior Youth Club for S1–S4 and guitar & percussion classes. Please see the Youth Activities page for more details.
In addition to our regular programme of activities, we will be holding social events throughout the year.
Our Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday, 28th November 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lots of stalls and goodies to choose from. We will give you more details when they are available.
New Visitor?
The centre is located in Saughton Main Street, Edinburgh. If you are planning to visit the centre for the first time and are not familiar with the area, you can find out how to get here on our information page. We are open Monday to Friday with occasional weekend opening for special events.
Adult Education Classes
The Centre hosts some of the courses in the City of Edinburgh Council’s Adult Education Programme. These include art, yoga, Spanish, patchwork and bridge. Please note the Centre staff cannot book places on Adult Education courses. You can enrol on these and other venue-based courses in the programme on the Adult Education Edinburgh website:
The Glass Room Cafe
The Cafe is open from 10am to 3pm on days the Centre is open. This is a friendly place where you can meet, greet and eat. Homemade soup, hot & cold rolls, toasties, scones and more. All at reasonable prices.
